Since 2018, Gozem has launched its activities in Togo. After 4 years of experimentation and challenges, a deployment in several cities of the country, our Togo team is looking for its new country manager, whose main mission will be to widely develop our transportation, food delivery, and shopping activities on the national territory. What is the position of Country Manager ?

As a Country Manager, you will be in charge of launching and then developing activities in the country. With all of our global managers, you will determine the different strategies to set up in order to identify and form a quality offer and obtain a large number of users. Once your team is formed, you will be in charge of leading them with energy and passion in order to help them achieve their goals and excel.

Your key responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and manage local teams in order to set up and develop activities.
  • Oversee the different stages of champions (drivers) engagement, including acquisition, training, support, by working closely with city managers and their operational teams, and ensuring the proper execution and improvement of Gozem operational processes.
  • Analyze KPIs on a daily basis, identify causes of developments & pilot teams accordingly.
  • Understand client needs, build and maintain a structured internal communication to ensure insights and recommendations about client acquisition, engagement & retention feed future strategic initiatives and contribute to Gozem development.
  • Define the quarterly national marketing plan with the global managers, ensure their proper production and distribution. Monitor the performance of these national campaigns.
  • Develop strategic commercial partnerships with various partners in the territory, likely to increase the volume of activities.
  • Identify new growth levers for Gozem in the region, and put them in place, in agreement with the Head of Business Development.
  • Define, monitor and manage the country budget.
  • Convey our vision and our corporate culture to employees on a daily basis, in order to build a solid, united and motivated team to achieve our ambitious objectives.

  • Increase GMV on all the business lines (transport, e-commerce and financing).
  • Increase the numbers of active clients.
  • Increase the numbers of active champions and active merchants.

Profil

  • Education level : Master or MBA (highly recommended but not mandatory).
  • Experience in a fast growing startup/technology company, in which you were in charge of leading projects, teams and various initiatives.
  • Having already worked in one of our sectors (ride hailing, e-commerce, fintech).
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Perfect use of Google suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slide, GDS...).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Knowledge of Africa is essential.
