Our Fast growing company is hiring an energetic Business Development Associate to help develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that will be in charge of market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development. Successful applicants should also be willing to travel.

What is a Business Development Associate ?

The Business Development Associate is required by the organization to participate in efforts and activities gendered towards business expansion. He/She will be in charge of identifying and exploring the potential of new markets for Gozem. For example : developing services for niche markets or identifying new verticals. He/She will have to conduct market research, collect external data, meet potential clients and partners, and define trends to recommend a business strategy. He/She will work directly with our Global Business Development Associate, and the country manager.

Your responsabilities

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients
  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Make cold calls for new business leads
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Maintain knowledge of all service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3 - 4 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
