We are looking to hire a Senior Global Data Analyst to join our data team that builds smart data products for Gozem. Your responsibility will be to make data more accessible and useful for our management and operational teams.
Gozem is a mobile application offering various services (transport, delivery, payments and financial services, and more) to African users, known as "Africa's Super App".
The app is 100% focused on the African market and mainly serves three local parties today : drivers (called champions), customers and merchants. We are present in several cities across Africa, and proud to improve the lives of local communities through the digitalization of the market and the introduction of technology-based efficiency gains.

What is a senior data analyst ?
Our senior data analyst will be in charge of understanding user-behaviour through metric movements, and design market/business intelligence reports, performance measurement dashboards and other data products in order to transmit this knowledge to all our teams. To do so, you will work closely with our Data Processing Manager, and all our data team. He/She will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
You are perfect for this position if ...
You have a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. You have demonstrated experience and methodology in handling large data sets and relational databases. You are able to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations. You have a very good understanding of addressing and metadata standards. You are able to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks. You are able to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. You are able to develop algorithms (including segmentation & predictive models)
